Op 13 januari 2017 promoveerde dhr. T. Noordenbos aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam op het proefschrift getiteld: ‘The role of innate immune cells in tissue inflammation in spondyloarthritis’. Het onderzoek werd verricht op de afdeling Klinische Immunologie en Reumatologie van het Academisch Medisch Centrum te Amsterdam, onder begeleiding van prof. dr. D.L. Baeten en dr. N.G. Yeremenko. De belangrijkste bevindingen van het proefschrift staan hieronder beschreven.
