Op 13 november 2020 promoveerde Mariska van den Berg aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen op het proefschrift getiteld: ‘Novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of asthma: focus on arginase and TRPA1’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder supervisie van prof. dr. R. Gosens en prof. dr. H.J. Meurs. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
