Op 23 mei 2024 promoveerde Emma Schepens aan de Universiteit Utrecht op haar proefschrift getiteld ‘Scent & sensibility: Een reis naar herstel bij door COVID-19 veroorzaakte reukstoornissen’. Het onderzoek werd uitgevoerd onder leiding van promotoren prof. dr. R.J. Stokroos en dr. S. Boesveldt en copromotoren dr. D.M.A. Kamalski en dr. I. Stegeman. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
