Op 29 februari 2012 promoveerde Esther Röder aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam op het proefschrift getiteld Sublingual immunotherapy in children with allergic rhinitis. Haar promotoren waren prof. dr. R. Gerth van Wijk en prof. dr. M.Y. Berger. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen van haar proefschrift weergegeven.
